California has the largest population of any state and the most electoral votes. Democrats carried California in the last seven presidential elections (1992 through 2016), while Republicans carried the state in the previous six (1968 through 1988). See 2020 primary results

CALIFORNIA

This measure would classify ride-hail and delivery drivers as independent contractors. Under a recent California law, these drivers are likely to be considered “employees” and entitled to more protections.

A “YES” vote supports classifying drivers as independent contractors

A “NO” vote opposes automatically classifying drivers as independent contractors
